Mirello Assurance · Proposed application

Inspection evidence.
Connected to the work.

A proposed application of Mirello Fleet for QR-linked temporary works inspection records, photographs and follow-up actions.

Powered by Mirello Fleet

One identifiable item. A connected inspection record.

The same principle that connects equipment to its care history could connect a temporary works item to its inspection evidence.

Mirello Assurance is an application we are exploring within the Fleet platform. The inspection templates, access permissions, approvals and reporting needed for a temporary works pilot would be agreed and validated with the project team before use.

Proposed pilot workflow

From a site scan to a traceable action.

01 · Identify

Scan the item.

A QR label would open the relevant item record, location and supporting information.

02 · Inspect

Record the observation.

An authorised person would complete the agreed checklist and attach photographs, notes and defects.

03 · Follow through

Keep actions visible.

The proposed workflow would track action owners, follow-up evidence and inspection dates against the item.

Temporary works inspections

Build the workflow around your procedures.

Start with one defined inspection use case, an agreed template and a small set of items.

  • Agree item identification and site locations
  • Define who may inspect, review and close actions
  • Set required evidence and inspection triggers
  • Agree escalation and overdue action handling
  • Validate the record and export requirements
  • Test the on-site experience and connectivity needs

Records and responsibilities

Recording an inspection is a distinct step from authorising use.

An inspection submission would record observations. It would not, by itself, confirm design adequacy, grant permission to load or use an item, or replace the responsible person's judgement.

Any pilot would need explicit roles and approval steps aligned with the project's temporary works procedures. A QR label or completed checklist alone would not represent engineering approval.
